Staff Accountant

The Edgewater Hotel is currently seeking a talented, service-oriented individual to join us as a Staff Accountant! 

The primary objectives of the staff accountant position is to perform a variety of accounting duties pertaining to busy hospitality operation.

• Manage daily income audit, including balancing revenue and receipts
• Perform daily A/R payment processing
• Assist with accounts payable data entry and filing
• Interact with Management on site-level
• Answering Guest Calls
• Special projects as they arise

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, and highly motivated
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability interact at all levels of the organization.
• Great communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent computer skills (accounting system, excel, report writers)
• Knowledge in ProfitSword, Acumatica, HMS, and Toast software is a strong plus

RATE OF PAY: $27-$29/hour, DOE

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of Accounting experience a plus
• Hotel finance experience a plus
