About Walden

Walden Local is a Certified B Corp on a mission to change the meat industry by displacing industrial, factory-farmed meat and seafood with sustainable and ethical alternatives, raised (and caught) locally and humanely by small, independent farmers and fishers. As a small, growing company we value team members who bring a willingness to roll up their sleeves and partner across the organization to deliver on goals and the mission.

Your Role

Walden is seeking an experienced accountant to bring their hands on mindset and strong analytical skills to our small accounting team. This position will own day-to-day AP/AR management, track complicated inventory costs and be closely involved with the monthly and quarterly close cycles in this growing, inventory-based business. As Walden Local grows, there are opportunities to transform and improve the existing financial systems.
