Job Summary:  The Staff Accountant Team Leader is a Finance role based in Houston, TX that leads the North America Staff Accountant team while performing complex accounting activities.

Primary focus: Ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities: Reconciles accounts, reviews journal entries, prepares financial reports, manages sales/backlog reporting, payroll entries, intercompany reconciliations, sales tax filings, fixed assets, cost allocations, and audit support. 

Leadership responsibilities: Provides day-to-day guidance, coaching, team development, prioritization, and problem-solving support to the North America Staff Accountant team to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and management expectations are met.
