Compensation: $60,000-$75,000

Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will support core accounting functions including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting activities. This role is designed for early-career professionals who want exposure to a publicly traded finance organization while gaining hands-on experience across multiple accounting functions.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations within close calendar deadline.
- Assist with month‑end close and reporting processes within close calendar deadline.
- Perform flux analysis, identifying and explaining variances.
- Support Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable activities as needed during scaling phases.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve discrepancies and improve data quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience or strong internship background.
- Working knowledge of Excel and financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Interest in renewable energy or high‑growth companies preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
