Staff Accountant

Well-established, privately held commercial construction and property management company with a 30+ year track record ]is looking for a full-time, fully on-site Staff Accountant.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:- Owning accounts receivable end-to-end: processing customer payments, monitoring aging, and following up on outstanding balances across multiple company entities- Maintaining the check log, rent log, and oil and gas revenue log- Serving as payroll backup and ensuring timely, accurate processing- Assisting with monthly general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and bank reconciliations- Supporting month-end close activities- Serving as the primary point of contact for incoming calls- Supporting management with administrative accounting projectsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience covering AR, bank reconciliation, and general ledger- Payroll processing or documented payroll backup experience- Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency- Construction, real estate, property management, or oil and gas experience is a strong plus- Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus -- company will train the right candidate
