Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will support the month-end close process and perform a variety of general accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of accounting experience who enjoys learning, values accuracy, and wants continued career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger

Assist with month-end close activities

Perform balance sheet reconciliations

Research and resolve accounting discrepancies

Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

Support recurring financial reporting

Assist with annual audits and special projects

Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate financial information

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1–3 years of accounting experience

Recent graduates with strong accounting internships are encouraged to apply

Experience with:

• General Ledger
• Journal Entries
• Month-End Close
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

ERP or accounting software experience is a plus

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Desire to grow into a Senior Accountant role

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $60,000–$75,000
