About The Role
ONErpm is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, analytical minded, meticulously organized staff accountant. This position will report directly to the senior staff accountant and be responsible for payroll, benefits & expense reconciliation, month-end close, accounts payable, and various other tasks in coordination with the rest of the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bimonthly payroll and monthly contractor payments; reconcile all payroll and benefits transactions
- Review and process expense reimbursements
- Assist with monthly accounting close - reconcile accounts - run depreciations
- Manage Accounts Payable for day-to-day operations
- Handle Business Registration issues in various states
- Pay weekly and monthly invoices
- Organize and run 1099's
- Streamline and suggest processes to increase efficiency for employees
Qualifications
- 4+ years of related experience- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
- Knowledge in using accounting software (preferably Xero) and strong Excel skills
- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
- Experience with account reconciliation
- Demonstrated knowledge of general ledger
- Self-starter and strong ethical standards
- Effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management.
- Strong analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various issues
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
- Able to work with a high degree of self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritizing multiple tasks, and using excellent judgment to resolve problems.
- Possess excellent organizational skills, strong work ethic, and solid attention to detail.
