The Staff Accountant position is responsible for supporting the Accounting and Finance departments in the key and necessary daily activities related to accounting & book keeping, reporting and preparing of financial statements and review of product profitability in our planning platforms.
Primary Duties:
- Support Accounting functions by providing full cycle accounting and focused reporting for US and Mexico.
- Perform monthly closing for financial entities
- Preparing and booking journal entries.
- Preparation of all financial statements for both the US and Mexico locations
- Perform monthly account analysis and inter-company account reconciliations.
- Assist in compiling information for Federal and State Tax filings.
- Assist in compiling information for Internal and External Audits.
- Key contact with parent company – fill all questions and requests for information and reports
- Handling filing of surveys from government agencies.
- Ad hoc reports and analysis as necessary to support management.
- Consolidation of period financial results in Business Central
- Support all BU’s in
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
- B.A. in Accounting or an equivalent and 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong work ethics with attention to detail
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of most commonly used business systems and software applications in addition to Windows Office and how these systems relate to business processes.
