Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the organization's accounting operations and financial reporting processes. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close activities, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, experience working with NetSuite ERP, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management activities.
- Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit preparation.
- Review financial data and identify discrepancies or opportunities for process improvements.
- Utilize NetSuite to maintain accounting records, generate reports, and support financial analysis.
- Assist with maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or professional environment.
- Experience working with NetSuite ERP is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with month-end close processes.
- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Experience supporting audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Prior experience in a growing organization or multi-location environment.
