Staff Accountant

This position reports directly to the Controller.

As Staff Accountant, you will:

• Manage accounts payable including matching and keying payables, check printing, and recording of ACH payments
• Assist accounts receivable by processing credit memos and cross training for billing and deposits
• Assist Controller with month end close
• Assist Controller with cash management by monitoring bank account and recording daily transactions.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to find and obtain accounting documents (Invoices, approvals, etc.)
• Be the Accounting voice within committee meetings
• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting procedures and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Ad hoc reporting, journal entries and special projects as assigned

To be successful in this position you need:

• 1–2 years’ experience in AP, AR or equivalent is preferred, but recent Accounting Grads are encouraged to apply
• A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are required
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work with a Team
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong working knowledge of Excel
• Experience in Business Central or equivalent ERP Software a plus
