ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Churches of Christ. This position requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to support the Christian mission of ACU.

The Staff Accountant II will execute daily treasury accounting transactions and perform treasury-related systems maintenance and coordination to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of ACU’s accounting information and reports.

Basic Responsibilities:

A. Daily treasury and cash management functions.

B. Reconcile activity transferred via automatic feeds from various processing systems (Touchnet Payment Gateway, PayPath, Point-of-sale systems, etc.) to the cash postings in clearing accounts in a timely manner.

C. Provide resources for credit card merchants across campus to facilitate the acceptance of credit card payments with various point-of-sale devices and ensure PCI compliance of said merchants.

D. Perform accounting services for general financial and billing and receivables functions.

E. Other tasks and projects as needed.

C. Provide resources for credit card merchants across campus to facilitate the acceptance of credit card payments with various point-of-sale devices.

D. Perform accounting services for general financial and billing and receivables functions.

E. Prepare financial reports and reconciliations of financial data on a timely basis.

F. Coordinate operations of the Touchnet Cashiering system, while ensuring compliance with applicable data security standards.

G. Coordinate the Processing of Online Sales (eCommerce) Transactions.

H. Other tasks as needed
