Description

We are seeking a Staff Accountant with a focus on payroll and reporting to join our Accounting Department. This role is responsible for processing and maintaining accurate payroll, reporting, and supporting month-end close activities. This Staff Accountant position will work closely with all departments. This opportunity is available due to growth. You will receive all necessary training.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and timely
• Review payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Create payroll journal entries
• Assist with month-end close processes
• Maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger accounts
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Run ad hoc reporting and special projects

Staff Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1-5 years of accounting or payroll-related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of payroll processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Willingness to learn new processes and build upon them
