Staff Accountant

Hoxton Circle has partnered with a local client to bring in a Staff Accountant for an immediate need, but the candidate will have an opportunity to convert to permanent based off their performance. There are medical benefits and sick pay available during the contracted phase. 

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions across multiple entities with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and timely execution
• Coordinate invoice reviews and approval workflows to ensure proper authorization and adherence to internal controls
• Assist with cash management, primarily handling bank reconciliations
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts related to payables, accruals, and cash
• Review and audit employee expense reimbursements for accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including general ledger entries and financial statement preparation
• Provide accurate and timely documentation in support of annual audits and internal audit requests
• Special projects and additional tasks, as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1-2 years experience in full cycle accounting through to month-end. 
• Experience with Yardi Voyager a plus
