Staff Accountant | Hybrid Position
MSP Real Estate | Heritage Senior Living – West Allis, WI
Salary Range: $65,000 to $70,000 - Full Time
MSP Real Estate/Heritage Senior Living is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting across multiple entities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions
- Analyze financial data and explain variances
- Assist with audit preparation and reporting to banks/investors
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of accounting experience (preferred)
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
- Experience with Yardi or PointClickCare (PCC) is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
