Staff Accountant - Coral Springs, FL
We’re seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our accounting department in Coral Springs, FL. This full-time, in-office role supports accounting operations for multiple business entities and is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a variety of accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting general ledger activity, preparing reconciliations, entering invoices, assisting with tax-related projects, and preparing financial reports. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and enter journal entries in QuickBooks
- Perform balance sheet account analysis
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Enter and review invoices
- Verify loan balances and related account activity
- Prepare Excel-based reconciliations and reports
- Assist with tax projects, filings, and personal property tax returns
- Complete intercompany reconciliations
- Analyze financial data and assist with reporting
- Support various accounting and ad hoc projects as needed
- Maintain accurate records for multiple entities
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Intermediate Excel skills required
- QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
- Helix software experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented attitude
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Pay: $25–$32 per hour, based on experience
