Job Description:
The Staff Accountant will have the ability to maintain organization in a busy environment. The Staff Accountant performs a variety of administrative tasks with a high degree of detail and confidentiality, using sound judgment in decision-making, problem-solving and project coordination in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for sites.
- Manage cash box for stipends.
- Payroll
- Time off Requests
- Onboarding and Offboarding of employees
- Manage building access (keys and fobs)
- Additionally, this role may encompass responsibilities beyond those outlined above, as required by the evolving needs of the organization. This job description is intended as a foundation and may be subject to expansion or modification to best suit ERG’s objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education and experience
- High School diploma/GED.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
- Previous administrative assistant experience
- Experience in the medical field, exercise science or physical therapy preferred.
- Requirements
- Understand regulatory requirements, as well as Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and International Conference of Harmonization (ICH) guidelines.
- Knowledgeable in medical terminology
- Time management and flexibility
- Professionalism and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal)
- Basic computer skills to include Word, Excel, as well as proprietary applications unique to the clinical research industry (such as Study Manager)
