POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team, working directly with the Accounting & Finance Manager. This is a great opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to build foundational skills in a fast-paced, service-based business environment with a team that genuinely supports your development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment questions
• Assist with audits and tax preparation as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software
• Familiarity with AP/AR systems and workflows
• Experience in the trades, construction, or service industry is a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Competitive salary: $55,000 – $65,000 per year, based on experience
