Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting department inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner. *
- Prepare accounts receivable and accounts payable invoices for review and approval by the Senior Accountant. *
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable subledgers and support general ledger accuracy. *
- Monitor and resolve synchronization errors within CF360 to ensure data integrity and system functionality. *
- Update and maintain accounting trackers, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end close activities and other accounting projects as assigned.
- Process and track vendor invoices, payments, and account activity. *
- Manage vendor records and maintain positive vendor relationships. *
- Coordinate payment notifications and send sponsorship payment confirmations when funds are received. *
- Process monthly player rent payments by the first day of each month. *
- Support per diem administration, tracking, and payment processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal accounting inquiries, providing timely assistance and issue resolution.
- Train new Ramp card and account holders on company policies, procedures, and system usage. *
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and process compliance.
- This role must be willing and able to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Assists Corporate Responsibility team at home games. *
- Aids in set up and execution of planned activations.
- Prolonged standing, walking and extended work hours.
- Set up and tear down of activation tabling in concourse.
- Must be available to attend all home games for the Dallas Wings, as well as attend most community events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

- Formal Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
- Certifications: CPA certification preferred
- Relevant Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience including preparing financial statement
- Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
- Strong communication skills required – this role will interact with strong, action-oriented communication styles as well as strong, methodical, detail-oriented communication styles so this position will need to be able to adjust based on the audience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive, productive, and supportive working relationships
- Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to adapt in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Intermediate to advanced excel and accounting software skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and pressure
- Understanding of principles of maintaining general ledger accounts
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Hearing, seeing, reading, writing, concentration, comprehension, and talking with clear speech.
- Planning, organizing, interpreting data, making decisions, problem-solving, and composure under deadlines/stress.
