Job Summary
- This staff accounting position will encompass assistance with various duties including management of coop invoicing process, journal entry preparation and posting, reconciliation of accounts, and other duties that will support the closing process
Responsibilities
- Manage the COOP order-to-cash process, including invoicing, vendor communications, and accounts receivable.
- Monitor COOP receivable aging and follow up on open invoices.
- Coordinate with the Sales Team on COOP accounts receivable matters.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare month-end journal entries with supporting schedules and post to the general ledger.
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations.
- Analyze and reconcile account variances
- Perform daily accounting activities such as commissions and sales reporting.
- Answer and resolve inbound phone calls from agents regarding billing inquiries.
- Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed.
- Serve as backup for other accounting roles, maintaining familiarity with their key functions and responsibilities.

Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
This is a hybrid role (Remote: Mondays and Fridays, Onsite: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)
