Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail -oriented and motivated Staff Accountant for one of our clients. This role is ideal for a mid -level accounting professional with 3–4 years of experience who enjoys a mix of general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable responsibilities.
<\/p>

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast -paced environment while supporting day -to -day accounting operations and month -end processes.

Responsibilities<\/u><\/b>
<\/p>

• Prepare and maintain journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
  <\/span><\/li>
• Assist with month -end and year -end close processes
  <\/span><\/li>
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking
  <\/span><\/li>
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
  <\/span><\/li>
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections as needed
  <\/span><\/li>
• Help ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  <\/span><\/li>
• Assist with financial reporting and audit preparation
  <\/span><\/li>
• Collaborate cross -functionally with internal departments and external vendors
  <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

  Qualifications<\/u><\/b>
  <\/p>

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
    <\/span><\/li>
  • 3–4 years of accounting experience required
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Experience with AP/AR processes and general accounting functions
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Strong communication and problem -solving abilities
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Preferred Qualifications<\/u><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Experience working in a mid -sized or growing company environment
      <\/span><\/li>
    • ERP experience such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems
      <\/span><\/li>
    • CPA or CPA -track is a plus, but not required
