Staff Accountant and Bookkeeper for a Higher Education Innovation Provider in the US (Home Based Part Time)

• Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), journal entries, and account reconciliations

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting

• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts to support clean audit-ready financials

• Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, tracking, and depreciation schedules

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data and process improvements
