Staff Accountant

What You’ll Do
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end close.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
- Prepare internal financial statements and perform financial analysis.
- Review inventory accounts and resolve discrepancies with operations and IT.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and solve accounting issues.
- Maintain accurate accounting documentation and perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Agility and NetSuite preferred); QuickBooks; BlackLine; ASW; or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification.
- Intercompany reconciliation and consolidation experience is a plus.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
