Position Summary
The Staff Accountant will be a key player in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our operations. Responsibilities include general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, financial reporting, and cost analysis. The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting background, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Contribute to the success of our financial operations as a crucial member of our finance team.
Primary Functions
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for accurate financial records.
- Record financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct cost analysis to optimize manufacturing expenditures.
- Collaborate with operational teams to monitor and analyze manufacturing costs.
- Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure adherence to financial reporting standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls.
- Assisting in Strahman accounting functions
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Three or more years of experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing
- Experience using Syteline and QuickBooks is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
