Staff Accountant

Overview

Location: Onsite - Pittsburgh, PA
Job Type: Full Time / Contract to Hire

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant. Ideal candidates must have a degree in accounting and experience with the construction industry including working with Certified Payroll and GMP billing.

Responsibilities

• Verify and update contracts, purchase orders, and invoices into the ERP system
• Schedule and process payments to vendors and subcontractors
• Review and submit credit applications
• Conduct reconciliations
• Ensure GMP billing is followed
• Resolve subcontractor invoice inquires

Qualifications

Education Required

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field, Bachelor's preferred

Experience Required

• Experience working in the construction industry
• Experience working with GMP contracts and interacting with vendors
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Prior experience using an accounting system preferred
• Ability to work independently
