Job Description

6 Degrees Group is recruiting for an Accountant in Atlanta, GA.

This role supports monthly accounting close through journal entries and account reconciliations across areas like cash, fixed assets, accounts payable, and revenue. The Accountant will work closely with Finance and Operations teams to ensure accurate, timely results while helping identify and implement process efficiencies. This is a hybrid role with a 3/2 schedule, offering a mix of collaborative office time and focused independent work. It's a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants broad exposure across the accounting function.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and record accounting transactions in support of monthly close, including cash, lease, and fixed asset accounting
• Post daily cash transactions and reconcile to bank daily and monthly
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
• Assist with internal control processes, ensuring controls are implemented and evidenced monthly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Thorough understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Strong Excel proficiency; NetSuite or similar ERP experience a plus
