Sr. Revenue Accountant

Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a Sr. Revenue Accountant for a large manufacturing company in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a contract position offering an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic finance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Sr. Revenue Accountant will be responsible for overseeing revenue recognition activities, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, and supporting accurate and timely financial reporting. This role will partner closely with operations, sales, and accounting teams to analyze contracts, review revenue streams, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end close.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze revenue transactions and contract terms to ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Support audit requests and provide documentation as needed.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve revenue-related issues.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with strong exposure to revenue accounting.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a contract engagement environment.
