As a Sr. Fulfilment Buyer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement and fulfilment process for aerospace products. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demands. Your expertise in procurement and supply chain management will contribute to the success of our aerospace operations and help us maintain a competitive edge in the market.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain by ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies, evaluate supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement in the procurement process.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on customer needs
- Source and purchase materials to meet production and customer demands
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies
- Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize inventory management processes
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance.
- Conduct regular order book reviews with assigned suppliers to manage purchase order date fidelity and support the acknowledgement/commit validation process.
- Utilize the tiered escalation process to engage support for issues as they arise and could impact the performance of the site(s) being supported.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools (SAP preferred)
