Sr Finance Systems Analyst

As a Sr Finance Systems Analyst here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing our financial systems to ensure seamless financial operations. You will collaborate with finance and IT teams to analyze system requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements that improve efficiency and data accuracy.

You will report directly to our Finance Systems Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the effectiveness of financial processes by ensuring that the systems supporting these processes are robust, reliable, and aligned with business needs. Your expertise will help drive data integrity and operational excellence across the finance function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, coordinate and ensure timely execution of month and year-end financial closing processes within SAP, HFM, and other finance applications for the respective regions. 
• Work in collaboration with other teams to resolve closing issues related to interface posting errors, allocations, reconciliation of the multiple finance modules (FI, CO, PCA, COPA)
• Ensure Intercompany process from FCOE perspectives are well delivered
• Analyze, design, and support finance systems to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and finance stakeholders to implement system upgrades, integrations, enhancements, and resolve functional and technical challenges.
• Support Financial and SOX audit requests.
• Provide training and support to finance users on system functionality and best practices.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 6 years of experience in finance systems management or related roles.
• Strong experience in financial systems implementation, configuration, and enhancement.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms, with a solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Experience collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver system improvements and ensure data integrity.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field with Master's degree in finance or MBA preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
• Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Familiarity with advanced reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards, such as GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a multinational company or global finance function, with an understanding of international finance and taxation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
