As a Sr Controllership Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the controllership functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies, and efficient financial close processes.
You will report directly to our finance leadership and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid schedule after the first 90 days.
In this role, you will impact the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the controllership function, supporting strategic decision-making and compliance within the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day controllership activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive the financial close process and support continuous process improvements for efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, tax, and legal to address controllership matters.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities to controllership team members.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools to support accurate reporting and close processes.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
