Position Overview

Summary: The Senior Accountant will prepare financial reports to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

Technical proficiency: Strong background in manufacturing, and with NetSuite.

Leadership and management: Possess strong leadership skills are essential to motivate and guide others, ability to set strategic goals, and make informed decisions. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with others.

Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow, revenue growth, and business development. Analyze complex problems, identify opportunities and risks, and develop innovative solutions. Strategic planning and the ability to partner with others to achieve overall business objectives.

Project management: Finance team is a key player in overseeing projects related to financial stability and growth. Strong project management skills are necessary to define project scope, allocate resources, establish timelines, and ensure successful execution within budget.

Problem-solving and troubleshooting: Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions is crucial. Possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions.

Communication and interpersonal skills: Effective communication is vital to interact with others including stakeholders, and senior management. Ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in written reports. Strong interpersonal skills are also important for building relationships, resolving conflicts, and fostering collaboration across different teams.

Business acumen: Advance knowledge of the business aspects of manufacturing operations. This includes budgeting, cost management, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
