Site Accounting Senior Manager

Position Summary:

Responsible for the centralized oversight, coordination, and supervision of accounting, revenue audit, and inventory control/receiving functions at all of Leech Lake Gaming casino properties. Ensures consistency in accounting practices, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting across all gaming locations. Provides day-to-day leadership and guidance to property accounting departments and supports timely and accurate financial close processes.

Essential Functions:

1. Provide direct leadership and oversight of accounting and revenue audit functions at all casino properties.
2. Ensure consistent application of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls across all properties.
3. Supervise site-level Accounting Managers, and staff.
4. Responsible for adherence to all aspects of the HR policy including payroll review/approval, periodic evaluation of staff, and all related paperwork and processes.
5. Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiency, accuracy and consistency across properties.
6. Lead or support implementation of standardized processes, systems, and best practices.
7. Assist with system upgrades, new technology implementations, or process changes impacting property accounting functions.
8. Provide training, mentoring and development support for site accounting staff so they can perform their job functions.
9. Support projects, investigations, or analyses as assigned by the Controller/Assistant Controller.
10. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
11. Maintains confidentiality at all times.
12. Is sensitive to Native American culture.
13. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource & Departmental Policy manuals, Tribal Internal Controls (TICS), and all other applicable regulations.
14. Secure the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
