Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

Reporting to the Treasury Director, the Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting cross-functional efforts across Treasury including supervisory activities, governance and controls, regulatory interactions, and internal oversight from Risk and Audit. The Senior Analyst will be expected to support projects that span across the group to drive efficiency and develop “best in practice” initiatives. The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for routine activities, such as executive management level and Board reporting, and activities aligned with current practices and procedures.

The Work Itself

Develop and maintain expert knowledge in governance and controls. Work with business partners, including Business Line (BL) Risk, Independent Risk Management (IRM) and Compliance, to understand governance routines and requirements to support needs across Treasury
Lead all necessary governance routines for Treasury by maintaining and enhancing Treasury’s governance repository
Support routine activities spanning across Treasury, including standard reporting, Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) materials preparation, consolidation of Senior Management and Board level materials, and other adhoc requests
Support all internal and external audits
Assist with all supervisory activities across the Treasury group, including but not limited to, targeted and horizontal exams, Routine Continuous Monitoring meetings, ad-hoc requests and remediation efforts
Analyze and improve processes
Encourage a culture of collaboration, teamwork and inclusion within the team
Apply relevant regulations, policies and procedures to business issues and day to day responsibilities

The Skills You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in treasury, finance, risk, or related.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or related.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Takes initiative and is a strategic thinker. Ability to grasp and apply complex concepts.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and skilled user of Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work across teams to achieve a common goal.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, balanced with knowing the right altitude necessary to deliver on requirements.

Base Pay Range: $70000 - $120000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
