Our Technical Revenue Accounting team is at the forefront of Anduril’s rapid growth, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting as we scale globally. We are searching for an analytical and forward-thinking Senior Technical Revenue Accountant to join us and support our evolving deal review processes.

ABOUT THE JOB

Reporting to the Manager of Technical Revenue Accounting, you will ensure the consistent and compliant application of ASC 606, lead detailed contract reviews, and author high-quality technical documentation. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical competency, strong cross-functional communication skills, and a passion for challenging the status quo to design innovative accounting solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead Contract Reviews: Analyze complex, multi-element arrangements and prepare ASC 606 checklists to document Anduril’s technical accounting conclusions for point-in-time and over-time revenue recognition.
• Establish Fair Value: Support, calculate, and maintain Standalone Selling Price (SSP) and fair value determinations for our cutting-edge product and service offerings.
• Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with key partners across Finance, Program Management, Contract Management, Legal, Order Management, and Proposals to streamline and support contract accounting operations.
• Technical Research & Guidance: Research ASC 606 codification for highly complex revenue scenarios to deliver expert guidance on deal structuring and author comprehensive technical accounting memos.
• Manage Audits: Liaise directly with external auditors, proactively managing requests and providing clear and well-supported documentation for complex transactions.
• Drive Process Innovation: Identify and implement process improvements and automation within the revenue accounting cycle to drive efficiency and support Anduril’s rapid growth.
• Month-End Close: Prepare and review complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to support a timely and accurate month-end close.
• Controls & Compliance: Assist in the formulation, implementation, and testing of internal controls, policies, and procedures in compliance with SOX, GAAP, and IPO readiness.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting with a strong, working application of ASC 606.
• Demonstrated experience with government contracting, including Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Time & Materials (T&M), and Cost Reimbursable (CR) contracts, is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical accounting concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-finance stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Slack is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with a large-scale ERP system (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and its Project Accounting functionalities. Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and Salesforce is strongly preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

US Salary Range

$99,000 - $130,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
