A highly respected Top 100 public accounting and consulting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join its growing tax practice in Southern California. What You’ll Do

• Lead the review and approval of complex tax returns across diverse client engagements
• Serve as a trusted advisor and technical resource for clients and internal teams
• Manage client relationships and oversee delivery of tax planning and compliance services
• Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff and managers
• Represent clients before taxing authorities and oversee tax examinations
• Drive workflow management to ensure timely, accurate completion of engagements
• Participate in business development, networking, and practice growth initiatives
• Collaborate with firm leadership on process improvements and strategic initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 7–10+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
• Proven background handling complex tax engagements and client advisory work
• Experience managing and mentoring tax professionals
• Prior experience representing clients before taxing authorities
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• CPA license required and active/in good standing
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MST or advanced tax specialization preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills

💰 Compensation: $184,000 – $214,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits package
