Position Summary:
The Senior Tax Manager will oversee complex tax compliance and planning activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and maximizing tax efficiency. This position is pivotal in liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality tax solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the tax department, providing mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Ensure timely preparation and review of federal, state, and international tax returns and filings.
- Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations, translating them into actionable business advice.
- Collaborate with audit, legal, and finance teams on tax-related matters.
- Manage relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
- Stay abreast of evolving tax legislation and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of tax experience, with a strong emphasis on corporate tax compliance and planning.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. tax laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Benefits
Salary Range: $138,000 - $204,000+ annually
