Senior Tax Manager

Senior Manager of Corporate Tax 📍 Phoenix, AZ | Publicly Traded | $1B Mid-Cap

This isn't a maintenance role. This is a transformation role.

We're looking for a corporate tax leader who wants to build something — modernize a department, drive technology, and have a real seat at the table in a high-growth, multi-entity public company.

What you'll own:

• ASC 740 tax provision (quarterly & annual) — this is your stage
• Federal, state & local income tax compliance via a co-sourced model
• SOX 404 documentation, controls, and testing
• Tax audits, notices, and direct interaction with tax authorities
• Managing outsourced providers — scope, delivery, and performance
• SEC tax disclosures (10-K and 10-Q) alongside external auditors
• Tax planning, cash tax optimization, and ETR strategy
• Mentoring and developing your tax team

You bring:

• 7–10+ years of corporate tax experience
• Big 4 background + in-house public company experience (ideal combo)
• Deep ASC 740 and multi-state tax expertise
• OneSource, advanced Excel, ERP fluency
• CPA or Master's in Taxation preferred
