Senior Tax Associate | Public Accounting
Location: Tampa, FL
Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000
Schedule: Flexible / Hybrid options available
A growing public accounting firm in the Tampa market is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its expanding team. What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Prepare a broad range of tax returns, including Individual, S Corporation, Partnership, and other entity returns
- Assist with financial statement reviews
- Research basic to intermediate tax issues and develop practical client solutions
- Build strong internal relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Deliver high-quality client service and help create a positive client experience
- Support and mentor staff associates and interns as they grow in public accounting
- Contribute to client success and participate in the communities where you live and work
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 2–6 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry
- CPA license preferred
- Accounting experience a plus
- Strong client service and communication skills
- Desire to develop creative business solutions in a team-based environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Integrity, initiative, and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Enthusiasm for helping clients, colleagues, and junior team members succeed
