Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior or Manager-level Tax Accountant located in Charlottesville, VA, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time. The role will oversee tax preparation, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and assist with strategic tax planning. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing individual and corporate tax returns, analyzing financial statements, and providing clients with expert guidance on accounting and financial matters. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and dedication to delivering trustworthy and timely services.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and understanding of Tax-related regulations
• Experience working with Financial Statements and conducting their analysis
• Strong foundation in Accounting concepts and practices
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively and independently
• Proficiency in accounting software and familiarity with advanced tax tools
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
