Note: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field and at least 3 years of public accounting tax experience preparing individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns.

Job Description
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, corporations, trusts, and exempt organizations.
- Review bookkeeping records, financial statements, general ledgers, and trial balances to ensure tax readiness.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax returns, missing information, notices, and planning opportunities.
- Research tax issues and apply federal and state tax regulations to client situations.
- Assist with estimated tax payments, extensions, and compliance requirements.
- Respond to IRS and state tax notices and support examinations when needed.
- Collaborate with accounting and bookkeeping teams to ensure accurate reporting.
- Support tax planning projects and advisory engagements.
- Maintain organized workpapers and documentation.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
- 3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Experience preparing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1120 returns.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance.
- Experience reviewing financial statements and bookkeeping records.
- Strong organizational and client communication skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks, and tax software.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent license preferred.
- Spanish fluency preferred.
