Tax Senior Accountant

This position is ideal for an early-career CPA or tax professional with multi-state tax experience who is looking to grow into a future leadership role. What You’ll Be Doing

• Support multi-state tax compliance activities including federal and state income tax filings
• Prepare and file sales, use, occupancy, lodging, and related tax reports
• Assist with tax research, audit support, licensing, and year-end tax readiness
• Manage property tax reporting, accruals, payments, and reconciliations
• Perform fixed asset accounting and depreciation analysis
• Prepare annual workpapers and support 1099 reporting processes
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams on reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations
• Assist with intercompany accounting, recurring entries, and expense allocations
• Support process improvements and help strengthen internal procedures over time
• Participate in onboarding and mentoring of interns or junior staff as the team grows

What They’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
• Experience with federal and multi-state taxation
• Exposure to partnership accounting concepts
• Background in public accounting or a tax-focused corporate environment preferred
• Understanding of GAAP and practical accounting application
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Someone who is naturally curious, eager to learn, and enjoys improving processes
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating across departments
