Job Description:
Indel Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Team. This is an on-site, 40-hour position in Rancocas, NJ, with limited to no overtime requirements.
Indel Services, LLC is a service organization for a large group of manufacturing companies. The Senior Tax Accountant will serve as a key member of the tax team, supporting the Tax Director across a wide range of responsibilities, including federal and state tax filings, income tax accounting, tax planning, and research. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with financial statements, trial balances, and journal entries, and will bring a solid understanding of federal and state tax laws. Success in this role requires strong analytical and research skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities independently.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibility.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare various sales tax returns, state income tax filings, and support sales tax audits. Assist in preparing Federal and State S Corporation and composite returns. Prepare the IC‑DISC return, FBAR/FinCEN Form 114, and other foreign tax reporting as required. Prepare or review international forms such as 5471s and 8858s. Prepare tax withholding and informational forms (e.g., CA 592s). Work with internal accounting teams to gather and analyze financial statements. Prepare the annual tax footnote and assist with year‑end income tax accounting. Gather information and support annual U.S. residency certification for shareholders, trustees, and beneficiaries. Respond to IRS and state notices. Research federal, state, and international tax issues as needed. Address general tax questions related to sales, payroll, state, federal, and international topics. Coordinate with internal controllers and accounting teams to obtain information in a timely manner. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance accuracy and timely filings. Perform additional tax‑related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Solid understanding of financial statements, trial balances, and journal entries. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, with the ability to research and interpret complex tax issues. Experience with ProSystems Fx and Caseware preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Adobe. Excellent mathematical, analytical, and communication skills. Strong organization and self‑management abilities.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 5 years of tax experience Experience in public accounting
Physical Requirements:
Have neat business-like appearance. Able to read printed word, write, speak and understand English. Able to bend and reach, sit for long periods of time and able to traverse the building. Salary:
Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications. Salary Range: $7,000 - $9,200/month
