Senior Staff Accountant

NextStep Recruiting has joined hands with a remarkable client located in Gardena, California, who is seeking to hire a Senior Staff Accountant with Cost Accounting experience. Our client is growing exponentially, organically, and through acquisitions. This individual will join an incredible accounting team in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• A minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing industry is required
• Cost accounting experience in cycle counting, workflow & reporting, and job cost closing
• Experience in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Act as a backup to assist with AP & AR when necessary - lots of cross-training opportunities
• Proficiency in GAAP, cost accounting principles, inventory evaluation, and financial statement prep is highly desired
• Experience utilizing Epicor, and intermediate Excel is required
