Senior Staff Accountant, Healthcare AllerVie Health | Frisco, TX | Full-Time

AllerVie Health is a national allergy and immunology platform with a growing corporate accounting function. We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting out of our Frisco, TX headquarters.

What You'll Own

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including financial statements and variance analysis
• Support internal and external audits with schedules, documentation, and inquiry responses
• Analyze account balances and financial transactions to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
• Assist with tax filings, regulatory reports, and compliance documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting of revenues, expenses, and capital assets
• Mentor junior accounting staff on accounting principles and best practices
• Participate in system upgrades and process improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
• 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or healthcare environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Experience in multisite healthcare, familiarity with RCM revenue recognition, and ERP systems such as NetSuite
