We’re seeking a Senior Staff Accountant who is ready to elevate their career—someone who brings strong technical skills, enjoys problem-solving, and is excited to take on more ownership and visibility within a growing finance team.
What You’ll Do
In this next-step role, you’ll move beyond transactional work into analysis, ownership, and business impact:
- Lead key aspects of the close process, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyze financial results and investigate variances to ensure accuracy and provide insights to leadership
- Take ownership of fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules
- Work cross-functionally to ensure data integrity across systems (including Salesforce and accounting platforms)
- Identify process improvements and help streamline accounting workflows and reporting
- Support and contribute to budgets and forecasts, partnering with leadership on financial planning
- Serve as a go-to resource for the team, assisting with questions and providing guidance when needed
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis that drive business decisions
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, with exposure to month-end close
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements
- Experience with reconciliations, accruals, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Effective communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams
- A proactive mindset with a desire to grow into more senior responsibilities
