Senior Product Owner (Construction Payroll & Compliance) | Minnesota | $100K–$130K
We’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Product Owner to lead the development of construction payroll and compliance solutions. This role is ideal for a product leader with experience in payroll systems, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and compliance regulations within the construction or workforce management space.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the product roadmap for construction payroll, compliance, and workforce management tools
- Gather and translate business needs into user stories, product requirements, and features
- Drive development of solutions for prevailing wage, certified payroll (Davis-Bacon), union rules, and multi-state compliance
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact features
- Prioritize backlog, manage Agile/Scrum processes, and ensure on-time delivery
- Analyze user feedback, market trends, and regulatory changes to guide product strategy
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager
- Strong background in payroll systems, HR tech, or construction software
- Knowledge of construction compliance, certified payroll, and labor regulations
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and product lifecycle management
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
