POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for executing and optimizing SKU-level pricing strategies through detailed analysis, competitive benchmarking, and collaboration with Category and Merchandising teams. This role focuses on translating strategy into actionable pricing decisions, ensuring alignment with margin targets, competitiveness, and financial plans.
What you’ll do
- Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies across various product portfolio’s, based on our category management framework
- Support our business partners by identifying performance drivers, actionable insights, and communicating recommendations to drive decision-making through data analytics
- Collect, enhance and productionize data that is required to provide data driven price recommendations
- Become experts on the products they support and the pricing strategies applicable to their categories
- Create and implement integrated CTR pricing strategies based on market intelligence to drive bottom line results
- Ensure that pricing and strategies are developed, implemented, measured, and monitored effectively and efficiently through analysis and reporting
- Manage operational relationships with the Category Management and cross functional teams to ensure effective coordination, communication and timely execution of price updates
- Drive ongoing pricing process improvements from both a tactical and a strategic perspective
What you bring
- University degree or College certificate in business administration, marketing, finance, economics or a related field
Communication and Presentation Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels within the organization
- Ability to create compelling slides and presentation decks to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Use communications and presentations to influence without authority to get alignment from Category Management Teams, and other cross functional teams, on key pricing strategy decisions
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Thrives in a team environment through contributing to a shared team purpose, celebrating team achievements, and maintaining a positive working relationship with other team members (both on direct team and client teams)
- Demonstrated leadership skills to provide thought leadership, influence stakeholders, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders of varied levels, and representing a broad range of functions

- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced business environment
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with rapidly changing priorities.

- Highly organized and detail oriented, able to tackle multiple projects with varying scope
Analytical Skills:
- Extensive experience gathering and interpreting data
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and make informed data-driven decisions
- Understanding of product lifecycle, role, profile, elasticity, etc. and the impact of external factors; competitors, vendors, etc.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analytics tools such as KNIME and Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Python, SQL and knowledge of Azure is preferred
- Possess an inquiring mind, excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills
Our typical hiring range is between $53,000.00 and $88,000.00 CAD Annual. The target salary range is between $60,000 and $70,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
