Senior Tax Manager, Direct Tax
Wilmington Office or Remote (with travel)
Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
CSC is a privately held, global business services company with operations in over 30 countries—and we’re looking for a Senior Tax Manager who’s excited to help build something, not just maintain it. Reporting to the U.S. Director of Tax, this is a high-impact role where you’ll shape how our U.S. tax function operates and evolves.
In this position, you’ll play a key role in driving U.S. tax strategy, helping identify planning opportunities while managing risk across both domestic and international operations. You’ll oversee core compliance and reporting, lead tax accounting and provision activities under ASC 740, and partner closely with finance, business leaders, and global teams to provide clear, practical guidance on complex tax matters.
Beyond the day-to-day, this is a chance to influence the bigger picture. You’ll help strengthen processes and controls, support business initiatives like acquisitions and restructurings, and contribute to building a scalable, efficient tax operating model. You’ll also mentor and develop team members while collaborating with external advisors and internal stakeholders across the organization.
In your first year, you’ll help stand up a post-acquisition U.S. tax framework, deliver a strong annual provision and reporting cycle, enhance shareholder-related processes, and begin bringing more work in-house from external partners.
What you’ll bring:
We’re looking for someone who is both technically strong and excited to lead, build, and improve. Ideal candidates will have:
- 10–15 years of U.S. corporate tax experience across public accounting and/or industry
- Strong knowledge of C corporation and S corporation taxation, including compliance and planning
- Experience with ASC 740 tax provision and reporting
- Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and improve processes
- Track record of partnering with stakeholders and explaining complex tax concepts in a clear, business-friendly way
- Experience working with tax and ERP systems (e.g., Corptax, Hyperion, Oracle, SAP)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA and/or Master’s in Tax preferred)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
*At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,534.40 to $165,264.00
If you’re energized by building, enjoy working cross-functionally, and want your work to directly influence a global business, this role offers a great opportunity to make an impact.
