HornBill's client, a Fortune 1000 Insurance and retirement services company headquartered in New York, NY, is currently seeking a Senior IT Auditor. This company is famous for providing growth and stability to its employees. It has an unparalleled track record on that front. Responsibilities:
- Performs and supervises reviews of IT operations, systems and internal controls and makes recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT environment
- Assists in the development of complex, technical audit programs and testing procedures
- Develops procedures using audit software to enhance analysis and testing
- Prepares written reports to management on audit findings and recommendations
- Reviews audit workpapers to ensure audit objectives are met and audit standards are maintained
- Participates in disaster recovery activities/tests and performs special projects as needed
- Undergraduate or graduate degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems
- Prior audit experience with emphasis on information systems, approximately 4 to 5 years
- Professional certification - CISA required
- Knowledge of and experience with programming languages, operating systems, database management systems and identity access management systems
- Proficiency in the use of audit software (ACL or Arbutus)
- Advanced experience in the use of Microsoft Office
- Good analytical, communication and management skills
