Job title – Senior GL Accountant

Location – Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid, 50% office based)

Hours - Full-time – 12 Months FTC

The team

You'll join our Finance Shared Service Centre team, which provides accounting and financial support across Mars Veterinary Health Europe. As part of a growing and dynamic finance function, you'll collaborate closely with market operations teams, finance colleagues, veterinary clinics, and external auditors. The team is focused on delivering high-quality financial reporting, maintaining strong controls and ensuring compliance across our Dutch legal entities while supporting the wider MVHE Group.

What we’re looking for

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline. Progress towards a professional accounting qualification would be advantageous.

· 3 to 5 years' accounting and financial reporting experience within a Shared Service Centre, large matrix organisation, or audit environment

· Strong reconciliation, journal posting and month-end close experience with excellent attention to detail

· Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse financial data to identify and explain variances.

· Fluent in both Dutch and English. Experience with Oracle ERP, statutory audits or Dutch compliance requirements would be beneficial
