Job Description

Job Purpose

If you enjoy building strong client relationships and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in alternative investment funds while making a meaningful impact for clients. You will work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver accurate fund accounting and financial reporting services, helping to ensure their structures are managed effectively while maintaining the high standards of service, quality and responsiveness that define Ocorian.

Main Responsibilities

• You will perform cash and position reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
• You will prepare expense schedules, including the calculation of management fees and carried interest/performance fees.
• You will produce investor allocations for each NAV cycle, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• You will deliver NAVs and all other client reporting accurately and on time, in accordance with approved procedures.
• You will assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and support the successful completion of the annual audit process.
• You will act as a key operational contact for clients, building strong relationships and responding to queries professionally and effectively.
• You will develop a strong understanding of offshore and onshore closed-ended fund structures to support the delivery of high-quality client service.
• You will communicate openly and proactively with colleagues, helping to identify and address risks, issues and opportunities.
• You will provide support across client portfolios and assist with the administration of any fund within the team when required.
• You will work closely with your Manager to mentor and support the development of junior colleagues.
• You will contribute to projects, process improvements and ad hoc initiatives that support the ongoing success of the team and business.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years' fund accounting experience in Alternative Investments, Private Equity and/or Private Debt funds.
• Strong technical knowledge of fund structures, debt products and waterfall calculations.
• Experience with eFront preferred; Geneva or Investran advantageous.
• Advanced Excel and strong fund accounting skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and client service skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.
